Ashley White
MARKETING DIRECTOR, TDM
Ashley leads the Marketing Department which serves as the official voice for Visit The Woodlands in messaging to meeting planners, leisure travelers, media and hospitality industry partners. In this position, Ashley oversees all aspects of marketing & communications for Visit The Woodlands including advertising, brand management, integrated marketing campaigns, media and public relations, online initiatives and strategic partnerships.
A leader in both the tourism industry as well as her community, Ashley currently serves as co-chair of the Marketing Task Force for Destinations International, which is comprised of marketing professionals from across the industry. The Marketing Task Force focuses on the sharing of knowledge, identification of issues and the development of marketing solutions as they relate to the professions involved with the business operations of a destination organization and working with Destinations International to advance relevant content and professional development.
Ashley is an active alumni of Leadership Montgomery County and chair of The Woodlands Marketing Committee, a group of Woodlands-area marketing professionals that collaborate to bring visitors to The Woodlands and create economic impact for the community.
She is a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and holds a certification as a Texas Destination Marketer (TDM) from the Texas Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (TACVB) and a certification as a Certified Tourism Executive (CTA) from the Texas Travel Alliance.
A resident of The Woodlands, Ashley believes in the power of community and giving back. She volunteers in the high school youth ministry program at St. Anthony of Padua in The Woodlands as well as for various non-profit organizations in Montgomery County.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and 3 sons. A proud boy mom, you'll often find her at a sporting event supporting her favorite athletes. Ashley is always looking for adventure and inspiration so if you have a favorite travel destination, send it her way!
