WHAT'S THE STORY BEHIND PINEY ROSE?
Taylor started Piney Rose creating beautiful arrangements for weddings and events. She was working out of our house and the dining room was filled with shelves of vases and buckets of flowers. As our business grew Cullen eventually quit his job to work full time at Piney Rose. We started offering arrangements for everyday occasions, like birthdays, anniversaries, funerals etc. We quickly outgrew the dining room and launched our retail brick and mortar location in December 2019.
HOW DO YOU FEEL LOOKING BACK ON YOUR BUSINESS JOURNEY?
Reflecting on our journey as a florist in The Woodlands, we feel a deep sense of pride in our growth and the relationships we've built within the community. We are so grateful to have served The Woodlands from our retail store for over 4 years now. From our humble beginnings to now offering not only beautiful floral arrangements but also a diverse range of gifts, it's been an enriching experience.
WHO HAVE YOU PROVIDED FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR?
Over the years, we've had the pleasure of serving a wide range of clients in The Woodlands area, from individuals celebrating special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries to corporate clients hosting events. We have had the privilege of supporting our local no-profit by donating flowers to many galas and fundraisers. We have even delivered to some of our local celebrities! Its encouraging to have repeat customers that trust us so much.
HOW HAS PINEY ROSE EVOLVED SINCE OPENING A BRICK-AND-MORTAR STORE?
Since opening our brick-and-mortar store in The Woodlands, Piney Rose has evolved into a one-stop destination for all things flowers and gifting. In addition to our exquisite floral arrangements we've expanded our retail offerings to include a variety of unique gifts, providing customers with even more options to choose from. We have built an amazing team full of creative individuals who really share our passion for serving others.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT BEING A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER IN THE WOODLANDS?
As small business owners in The Woodlands, we deeply appreciate the sense of community and support that surrounds us. It's incredibly fulfilling to be able to contribute to the beauty of our town. We love The Woodlands, its where we live and raise our kids so giving back to it is important to us. We love that so many of our customers are community minded and shop with us knowing we give so much back.

The Piney Rose subscription service offers residents in The Woodlands and surrounding areas the opportunity to receive fresh, seasonal floral arrangements regularly, right to their doorstep. Along with our local delivery service, it's a convenient way for our customers to enjoy the beauty of flowers in their homes or offices on a recurring basis.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FLORAL DESIGNER?
My passion for floral design stems from a lifelong love of nature and creativity. Even as a child I was always picking wildflowers and make arrangements or flower crowns. I've always been captivated by the beauty and symbolism of flowers, and being able to create stunning arrangements with roses and other blooms for our customers on the happiest and saddest days of their life is such an honor and brings me immense joy.
WHY DO YOU LOVE WORKING WITH FLOWERS AND CREATING ARRANGEMENTS?
Working with flowers allows me to combine my passion for nature with my artistic vision. Whether it's crafting a breathtaking bouquet for a special occasion or selecting the perfect arrangement for a corporate event, the joy and happiness our floral creations bring to our clients in The Woodlands is incredibly rewarding.
