Ashley Fenner
SENIOR SALES SPECIALIST, CTA
Ashley is the Senior Sales Specialist for Visit The Woodlands. Ashley’s role includes sales efforts, FAM events, site tour coordination, and attending tradeshows to promote The Woodlands. Ashley also assists with the incentive fund program while working closely with the Servicing Coordinator to ensure that groups have an exceptional experience while they are in The Woodlands for their meeting, convention or event.
Prior to her role as Senior Sales Specialist, Ashley was the Sales and Servicing Coordinator for Visit The Woodlands with a strong focus on developing specific leisure markets and supporting convention business. She began her journey with Visit The Woodlands as the Administrative Assistant for the Marketing team in 2018.
In addition to her enthusiasm for The Woodlands, Ashley brings an extensive background in event planning, customer service and community volunteer efforts, having served on numerous non-profit boards over the past 20 years.
In 2021, Ashley earned her Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) designation. The program’s objective is "To increase regional tourism by inspiring front-line hospitality employees and volunteers to turn every visitor encounter into a positive experience”.
Ashley is a member of the Texas Society Association Executives (TSAE), Event Service Professionals Association (ESPA), Meeting Planners International Houston Chapter (MPI HAC) and The Woodlands Township Employee Engagement Committee.
An Ohio native, Ashley and her family have been proud to call Texas home since 2006. Ashley enjoys entertaining, dining in her favorite Woodlands restaurants, planning her next trip to Italy and searching for the perfect limoncello martini. She resides in the Village of Alden Bridge with her husband, three children and their cat, Lovey.
