As a Director for Visit The Woodlands, Jennifer helps guide the organization to help ensure long-term success.
Jennifer has served as the General Manager for The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center since 2023. She began her Marriott career journey 29 years ago with Stouffer / Renaissance Hotels in St. Louis, and over the course of her career, has spent time as the Director of Market Strategy in St. Louis, Hotel Manager for the 1110-room Sheraton New Orleans, and most recently, General Manager of the Houston Marriott Medical Center/Museum District. In her role as General Manger of the Houston Marriott Medical Center/Museum District, Jennifer led the property to strong overall results, all while successfully completing public space and lobby transformations and, introducing three new food and beverage outlets at the hotel.
Jennifer is an insightful and collaborative leader who brings vast experience and leads her teams to achieve best-in-class balanced scorecard results. Since arriving in Houston in 2021, Jennifer has become actively involved, serving as Co-Chair for the Houston Marriott Business Council and on the Board of Directors with the Hotel and Lodging Association of Greater Houston and the Houston Hospitality Alliance (former GHCVB). Jennifer is looking forward to serving on the Visit The Woodlands Board of Directors and immersing herself in the amazing Woodlands community.
