The Woodlands Waterway is the place to be on Friday nights. It’s home to some of the greatest happy hour spots in The Woodlands. Kick back at The Crush Bar to enjoy a long list of wines. Maybe a jumbo margarita and appetizers sounds great, then Cyclone Anaya’s is the place for you. A few other fun and relaxing happy hour spots are Hubbell & Hudson Bistro and The Refuge .

Fielding’s Wood Grill offers Bloody Mary flights, need we say more? Black Walnut Café has seven different benedicts to choose from.  If you have a passion for luxury cars, check out The Woodlands Car Club Cars & Coffee for a Cause event happening twice a month in Market Street.  All the latest hot rods are on display here.



#02 Museum Stop

Igrubt’s now time for our favorite meal of the day… lunch! Similar to brunch and dinner, The Woodlands is home to some of the most delicious lunch spots. It’s constantly a tough decision around here. The Republic Grille is a proud, award winning chicken fried steak restaurant, and not to mention the desserts are to die for! Grub Burger Bar has every kind of burger you can imagine- beef, chicken, turkey, salmon, Ahi tuna, veggie and more. Is your mouth watering yet? If you still can’t decide, you can never go wrong with pizza! Check out Crust Pizza Co. to do the trick.



#04 Splashin'

#05 Adventures

Riva Row Boathouse at Town Green Park offers single and tandem kayak rentals as well as paddleboard rentals. A single kayak is $15 for the first hour and tandem kayaks and paddleboards are $20 for the first hour.



#06 Beat the Heat

The Pavilion was also recently named the best amphitheater in the world!  Nothing better than grabbing a blanket and relaxing on the hill while enjoying some of your favorite artists. #08 Late Night Dinner

Restaurant-Row-in-HL-3Maybe you decided to forgo the concert’s concessions, and you want to indulge in more of The Woodlands’ great cuisine. Check out Restaurant Row at Hughes Landing located off Lake Woodlands Dr. and Hughes Landing Boulevard for dinner with a view. Seated on Lake Woodlands, Local Pour has a great list of craft beers to choose from. Step out of your comfort zone and try the cheesesteak egg rolls at Del Frisco’s Grille. Sometimes you just really need a Tex-Mex fix, and for that satisfaction we give you Escalante’s Fine Tex-Mex.



#09 A Little Live Music

Check out our event calendar to see where the best local bands are playing. Some of our favorite spots after dark include Baker Street Pub and The Goose’s Acre, where the bar was imported straight from Ireland to The Woodlands.

Try out another new brunch spot. America’s on The Waterway has great views for dining while Jasper’s has some of the best French toast in town. If you’re not a heavy breakfast eater, definitely stop by Levure Bakery & Patisserie for delicious quiche, croissants and sweet treats.



#02 Take a Relaxing Ride

The cost is $5 per ticket, and the cruiser makes three stops: The Woodlands Mall Turnaround Basin, Waterway Square and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Turnaround Basin.



#03 Shop 'Til You Drop

#04 Sweet Treat

macaronGrab a road trip snack on your way out-of-town. If you have a sweet tooth, Macaron by Patisse is a must. If you have a vehicle full of kids, load up on cookie butter and other snacks at Trader Joe’s.
