Eat Well, Live Well

Whether you’re in town for business, visiting friends or family or you’re on a weekend getaway with your best friend, check out these dining options to eat well.

#01 Ruggles Green

The Ruggles Green menu is full of fresh, local, organic and natural ingredients. In fact, Ruggles Green was the Houston-area’s first Certified Green Restaurant. The amount of gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options available blows my mind. The long list of fresh salads and wraps are my personal fav.

As a local, I love CURRENT‘s seasonal menu; it’s ever-changing. The breakfast, lunch and dinner menu are each designed to be flavorful and healthy. The restaurant is located within the Westin, so if you’re staying in the hotel you’re in luck! If not, no worries, because it’s open to the public! Did I mention it has an incredible view of The Woodlands Waterway?

#03 Whole Foods

No, Whole Foods is not just a grocery store! Have you seen the size of the salad bar?! Whole Foods has several stations will all health-conscious options. Build-your-own sandwiches and wraps, tacos, soups and of course, the vast salad bar. This is the perfect place to simply run in, build your salad and hop back in your car if you have a busy day.

#04 Salata

Your toss-to-order salad or wrap is what you make it! At Salata, choose from a wide variety of lettuce, fruits, veggies, nuts, cheeses, protein and dressing to create your new favorite meal. There are also several soups to pair with your salad or wrap. My recommendation is the tomato basil!
