Children will be invited to make jester hats and noisemakers to wear and use during the onsite parades, which will take place at 10:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:15 p.m. Juggler Claude Sims will perform at 11:15 a.m.
Visitors will be served king cake and bread pudding on their way out, courtesy of sponsors Schilleci’s New Orleans Kitchen and Lou Lou’s Beignets of The Woodlands. The Mardi Gras celebration is included in the museum’s regular admission, which is $6 for adults and children ages 1 and older.
