Last week we celebrated National Plan Your Vacation Day, and I believe I have a new favorite holiday. My question is, why hasn’t this holiday caught on and given the working world the day off to sit down and plan our vacations?! I catch myself saying “Oh I’d love to visit _______.” My husband, Christian, typically responds with “Well, why don’t you?” He is a dream-chaser and adventure-seeker. The other day I casually mentioned how I had never been to Disney World (yes, I know, I was deprived as a child). Within 20 minutes Christian sat down and had planned an entire trip to Disney World for us.
I’m going to ask you a few questions: Where do you want to visit in 2017? Why don’t you? Too busy?
If you don’t do it this year, are you going to put it off for another year? I challenge you to be like Christian and to follow through with those places you’ve been curious about. Maybe you can’t visit Greece or Rome just yet, so we encourage you to start small. Maybe you’ve been looking for a quiet, attractive, effortless place to visit with your husband, best friend or family for the weekend. If that’s the case, we invite you to visit The Woodlands, Texas
