Take in the unsuspected calming beauty of The Koi Garden during your next outing to The Woodlands.

The Koi Garden is nestled in the heart of Town Center (the downtown area of The Woodlands). This calming environment sits right on The Woodlands Waterway across from The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.

The Koi Garden is open daily from 8 a.m. to nightfall. Bonus: Entrance to this unique space is free!

Exotic plantings complement the 60,000-gallon pond bringing a perfect touch of tranquility and nature to the thriving area.

Visitors are encouraged to relax and reconnect with nature in this calming escape. If you’re looking to raise your spirits or to get rid of jet lag, quiet contemplation and meditation in the garden will certainly help!

There is plenty of bench-style seating next to the water, along with a small waterfall that also acts as a filtration system. The sounds of the water adds the perfect ambiance to the already relaxing environment.

This intimate location provides an ideal backdrop to “pop the question”, and is a favorite for engagement photos.

To keep the koi healthy, feeding them is prohibited. However, their caretakers typically feed them on Saturdays around 1 p.m.

For another look at nature in the area, be sure to check out The George Mitchell Nature Preserve. Spend the day hiking and biking on trails, located underneath a Southeast Texas forest canopy.
