After careful consideration of the health and safety of staff and the community surrounding COVID-19 concerns, the county has decided to close all Montgomery County Memorial Library locations beginning March 18th until further notice.

Are there any free library resources available during this time?
Yes. The library provides access to several eBookseAudiobookseMagazines, and online databases. We have also put together a list of Educational Resources, which include materials for parents or guardians, as well as links to up-to-date information regarding the Coronavirus.

What if my items are due? Will I receive late fees?
The due date for all items will be extended and you will not incur any fines for items that were due during the closure period.

Will the book drop be open?
In an abundance of caution, all library book drops will be closed during this time.

What if I have holds that are ready for pick up?
All holds will be extended during this time. Please disregard the pick-up dates listed in your account.

My library card has expired. How can I renew?
If your card expired or expires between March 7th and April 7th, it will automatically be renewed to April 30th to allow you to continue to use our online resources.
